I. ABOUT THE POEM
The poem all started when a guy had a crush on a girl. He kept on thinking what type of confession he will make. He is waiting for the right time to make a whole paragraph of message for his admiring girl and the right time to send his message.But after all he has done the girl just said a four letter word that says “HAHA” means that the girl does not care about what he feels even though he is doing what he can just to make the girl have a good conversation with him and a closure with that girl. In short, its okay to him that he can’t be the guy that the girl wants but he wants to be her friend.This case is very common these days especially confessing through message, but this is wrong ,we should accept or appreciate other people’s effort even though they are to shy to say it in personal. To them its a big respect even if they are rejected or accepted.
II. QOUTES IN RELATION TO THE POEM
The following quotes showed how it’s connected to the literary work by Ann Luna, “HAHA”. As a part of the 21st Century Learners, reading quotes is one of my hobbies. It is popular to us, youth, because quotes make us feel that we have someone that has the same feeling that we are experiencing. There are different kinds of quotes, it can be about life, love and it can also give entertainment to a lot of people especially millennials. Using the following quotes can make the readers of this blog to easily understand the literary piece, “HAHA”, and at the same time usage of these quotes can also make the readers be interested in this blog.
This quote showed how adjusting for the one you love is so evident nowadays. But sometimes, those people who are always adjusting is the one who are being abused by their loved ones. They are slowly becoming selfless because the allotted love that they will give for themselves is being given to other people. The people who are being abusive are commonly using the action, taking for granted of others. This specific action can be seen in the literary work, “HAHA”, because this story is all about how a certain person hurt the feelings of his/her fellow by not appreciating the efforts that were given to him/her. We can see how this person allotted his/her time in order to prolong the conversation with his/her loved one. But in return, those 4 letters just hurt his/her feelings. It’s like the word “haha” can’t be considered as a good reply to the people are willing to give efforts, for them it’s lowkey ignoring them.
In this quote, it showed every person’s wish when it comes to love. One of the important things about love is appreciation. When both sides appreciate and give efforts, it can lessen the misunderstandings. In today’s generation, there are a lot of people that end their nights while crying because they felt unwanted. Experiencing this kind of feeling is so unfair for those who always work hard just to feel that they are important in other people. So, it is a must to put an end to the actions that can hurt others and start appreciating their efforts. In the literary piece,” HAHA”, we can see how the ono who gives efforts end up feeling unwanted. See, a simple word can make a lot of people feel that they are not worth talking to. Therefore, we must be careful to the words that we will say because sometimes we are being insensitive and unfair.
